You've Seen the Tracing Board.

Now See It With Depth.

For generations, tracing boards have given visual form to the symbols, allegories and lessons found within Freemasonry.

Traveling Ashlar takes that familiar imagery off the flat page.

Five individually cut wooden layers create physical separation throughout the design, allowing symbols and architectural elements to sit above and behind one another.

Viewed straight on, it reads as a tracing board.

Turn it slightly and the construction reveals itself.

Not another piece of Masonic wall art.

For generations, tracing boards have helped give visual form to the lessons, symbols and allegories found within Freemasonry.

Traveling Ashlar takes that familiar imagery off the page.

This Masonic Tracing Board is constructed from five individually cut wooden layers, creating physical depth throughout the design. Elements that normally exist on a single flat surface now sit above and behind one another, changing the piece as you move around it.

The result is part tracing board, part dimensional artwork and unmistakably Masonic.

Five layers of plywood build the finished piece.

The artwork is reproduced using UV digital printing while precision laser cutting creates the layered construction.

Five approximately 5 mm layers create about 25 mm, or nearly one inch, of total depth.

Look straight at it and you see the tracing board.

Move to the side and the construction reveals itself.
